Incense & Dhoop Safety

Incense sticks and dhoop sticks involve burning materials and may produce smoke, heat, ash, and an open ember.

• Never leave burning incense or dhoop unattended.
• Always use a suitable incense or dhoop holder on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
• Keep away from children, pets, curtains, paper, furniture, and other flammable materials.
• Keep away from drafts and open windows where burning material or ash could be displaced.
• Use only in a properly ventilated area.
• Allow ash and burned materials to cool completely before disposal.

Candle Safety

Candles contain an open flame and must be used responsibly.

• Never leave a burning candle unattended.
• Keep candles away from children and pets.
• Keep away from drafts, flammable materials, curtains, bedding, paper, and other objects that could catch fire.
• Place candles on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
• Follow any burn-time, wick-trimming, extinguishing, and other safety instructions provided with the candle.
• Do not move or handle a candle while the wax or container is hot.
